Deuteronomy 15:8

⁸but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend to him ^[a]whatever he needs.

Deuteronomy 15:8

⁸Rather, be openhanded^(A) and freely lend them whatever they need.

⁸But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.

Do not say, “I will do to him as he has done to me;
I will pay the man back for his deed.”^(A)

²⁹Do not say, “I’ll do to them as they have done to me;
I’ll pay them back for what they did.”^(A)

²⁹Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.
