For these seven days, no one in the whole country should have any yeast. And none of the meat from the sacrifice you offer on the first night of the celebration should be left over on the next day. Don’t offer the Passover sacrifice in any of the other cities the Eternal your God is giving you. Even if it’s some distance, make the journey to the place He will choose for His name. Offer the Passover sacrifice in that place, in the evening, at sunset—the time when you left Egypt.

Let no yeast be found in your possession in all your land for seven days. Do not let any of the meat you sacrifice on the evening(A) of the first day remain until morning.(B)

You must not sacrifice the Passover in any town the Lord your God gives you except in the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name. There you must sacrifice the Passover in the evening, when the sun goes down, on the anniversary[a](C) of your departure from Egypt.
