You are not allowed to sacrifice the Passover in any of your gates of the towns which Yahweh your God is giving you; but (A)at the place where Yahweh your God chooses for His name to dwell, there you shall sacrifice the Passover in the evening at sunset, at the appointed time that you came out of Egypt. And you shall (B)cook and eat it in the place which Yahweh your God chooses. In the morning you are to return to your tents.

You must not sacrifice the Passover in any town the Lord your God gives you except in the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name. There you must sacrifice the Passover in the evening, when the sun goes down, on the anniversary[a](A) of your departure from Egypt. Roast(B) it and eat it at the place the Lord your God will choose. Then in the morning return to your tents.
