The Feast of Weeks

(A)“You shall count seven weeks. Begin to count the seven weeks from the time the sickle is first put to the standing grain. 10 Then you shall keep (B)the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with (C)the tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give (D)as the Lord your God blesses you. 11 And (E)you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your towns, the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow who are among you, at the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name dwell there. 12 (F)You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt; and you shall be careful to observe these statutes.

The Festival of Weeks(A)

Count off seven weeks(B) from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain.(C) 10 Then celebrate the Festival of Weeks to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you. 11 And rejoice(D) before the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name(E)—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, the Levites(F) in your towns, and the foreigners,(G) the fatherless and the widows living among you.(H) 12 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt,(I) and follow carefully these decrees.

Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.

10 And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the Lord thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the Lord thy God, according as the Lord thy God hath blessed thee:

11 And thou shalt rejoice before the Lord thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the Lord thy God hath chosen to place his name there.

12 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.
