Deuteronomy 17:19-20

19 It is to remain with him, and he is to read in it every day, as long as he lives; so that he will learn to fear Adonai his God and keep all the words of this Torah and these laws and obey them; 20 so that he will not think he is better than his kinsmen; and so that he will not turn aside either to the right or to the left from the mitzvah. In this way he will prolong his own reign and that of his children in Isra’el.

New International Version
19 It is to be with him, and he is to read it all the days of his life(A) so that he may learn to revere the Lord his God and follow carefully all the words of this law and these decrees(B) 20 and not consider himself better than his fellow Israelites and turn from the law(C) to the right or to the left.(D) Then he and his descendants will reign a long time over his kingdom in Israel.(E)
