13 (A) Never be guilty of doing any of these disgusting things!
A Prophet like Moses
Moses said to Israel:
14 You will go in and take the land from nations that practice magic and witchcraft. But the Lord your God won't allow you to do those things. 15 (B) Instead, he will choose one of your own people to be a prophet just like me, and you must do what that prophet says.

13 You must be blameless(A) before the Lord your God.(B)
The Prophet
14 The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination.(C) But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so. 15 The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites.(D) You must listen to him.
