Deuteronomy 18:21-22

21 Now [a]you may say in your heart, ‘How will we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?’ 22 (A)When a prophet speaks in the name of Yahweh, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it (B)presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true,(A) that is a message the Lord has not spoken.(B) That prophet has spoken presumptuously,(C) so do not be alarmed.
