Deuteronomy 2:23-25

23 And the (A)Avvim, who lived in villages as far as Gaza, the [a](B)Caphtorim who came from [b](C)Caphtor, destroyed them and lived in their place.) 24 ‘Arise, set out, and pass through the [c](D)valley of Arnon. Look! I have given Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land into your hand; begin to take possession and contend with him in battle. 25 This day I will begin to put (E)the dread and fear of you [d]upon the peoples [e]everywhere under the heavens, who, when they hear the report of you, (F)will tremble and be in anguish because of you.’

23 And as for the Avvites(A) who lived in villages as far as Gaza,(B) the Caphtorites(C) coming out from Caphtor[a](D) destroyed them and settled in their place.)
Defeat of Sihon King of Heshbon
24 “Set out now and cross the Arnon Gorge.(E) See, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite,(F) king of Heshbon, and his country. Begin to take possession of it and engage(G) him in battle. 25 This very day I will begin to put the terror(H) and fear(I) of you on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble(J) and be in anguish because of you.”
