24 “‘Rise up, journey on, and cross over the Wadi Arnon. See, I have handed over Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land—begin to possess it! Engage him in battle! 25 This very day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you upon the peoples everywhere under heaven. When they hear the report about you, they will tremble and twist in anguish because of you.’

23 And as for the Avvites(A) who lived in villages as far as Gaza,(B) the Caphtorites(C) coming out from Caphtor[a](D) destroyed them and settled in their place.)
Defeat of Sihon King of Heshbon
24 “Set out now and cross the Arnon Gorge.(E) See, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite,(F) king of Heshbon, and his country. Begin to take possession of it and engage(G) him in battle. 25 This very day I will begin to put the terror(H) and fear(I) of you on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble(J) and be in anguish because of you.”
