Deuteronomy 20:12-14

12 But if they do not accept your terms of peace[a] and they want to make war with you, then you shall lay siege against it.[b] 13 And Yahweh your God will give it into your hand, and you shall kill all its males with the edge[c] of the sword. 14 Only the women and the little children and the domestic animals[d] and all that shall be in the city, all of its spoil you may loot for yourselves, and you may enjoy the spoil of your enemies that Yahweh you God has given to you.

12 If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. 13 When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it.(A) 14 As for the women, the children, the livestock(B) and everything else in the city,(C) you may take these as plunder(D) for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the Lord your God gives you from your enemies.
