Deuteronomy 20:12-14

12 However, if it does not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it. 13 When the Lord your God gives it into your hand, (A)you shall strike all the [a]men in it with the edge of the sword. 14 Only the women and the children and (B)the animals and all that is in the city, all its spoil, you shall take as booty for yourself; and you shall [b]use the spoil of your enemies which the Lord your God has given you.

12 If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. 13 When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it.(A) 14 As for the women, the children, the livestock(B) and everything else in the city,(C) you may take these as plunder(D) for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the Lord your God gives you from your enemies.
