12 But if they do not make peace with you and fight you in battle, you should surround that city. 13 The Lord your God will give it to you. Then kill all the men with your swords, 14 and you may take everything else in the city for yourselves. Take the women, children, and animals, and you may use these things the Lord your God gives you from your enemies.

12 If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. 13 When the Lord your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it.(A) 14 As for the women, the children, the livestock(B) and everything else in the city,(C) you may take these as plunder(D) for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the Lord your God gives you from your enemies.
