Deuteronomy 21:17-19
Good News Translation
17 He is to give a double share of his possessions to his first son, even though he is not the son of his favorite wife. A man must acknowledge his first son and give him the share he is legally entitled to.
Concerning a Disobedient Son
18 “Suppose someone has a son who is stubborn and rebellious, a son who will not obey his parents, even though they punish him. 19 His parents are to take him before the leaders of the town where he lives and make him stand trial.

Deuteronomy 21:17-19
New International Version
17 He must acknowledge the son of his unloved wife as the firstborn by giving him a double(A) share of all he has. That son is the first sign of his father’s strength.(B) The right of the firstborn belongs to him.(C)
A Rebellious Son
18 If someone has a stubborn and rebellious(D) son(E) who does not obey his father and mother(F) and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town.
