22 If you see your fellow Israelite’s ox or sheep straying, do not ignore it but be sure to take it back to its owner.^(A)

⁴ If you see your fellow Israelite’s donkey^(A) or ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help the owner get it to its feet.^(B)

⁴⁴ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,^(A)

²⁰ On the contrary:

¹⁵ Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong,^(A) but always strive to do what is good for each other^(B) and for everyone else.
