23 “^(A)No one who is ^[a]emasculated or has his male organ cut off may enter the assembly of the Lord.

⁷ But ^(A)Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, a ^[a](B)eunuch, while he was in the king’s palace, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the cistern. Now the king was sitting at the ^(C)Gate of Benjamin;
