Deuteronomy 23:6-8
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
6 You shall not seek their peace or their prosperity all your days forever.
7 You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother [Esau’s descendant]. You shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you were a stranger and temporary resident in his land.
8 Their children may enter into the congregation of the Lord in their third generation.

6 Do not seek a treaty(A) of friendship with them as long as you live.(B)
7 Do not despise an Edomite,(C) for the Edomites are related to you.(D) Do not despise an Egyptian, because you resided as foreigners in their country.(E) 8 The third generation of children born to them may enter the assembly of the Lord.
