¹⁶ ¶ ^(A)The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children put to death for the fathers, but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

⁶ But the children of those that did slay him, he ^[a]slew not, according unto that which is written in the book of the Law of Moses, wherein the Lord commanded, saying, ^(A)The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children put to death for the fathers: but every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

³⁰ But everyone shall die for his own iniquity, every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

¹⁰ ¶ If he beget a son, that is a ^[a]thief, or a shedder of blood, if he do anyone of these things,
