18 They attacked you when you were tired and exhausted and killed all those who were lagging behind. They weren’t afraid of Elohim. 19 So when Yahweh your Elohim gives you peace from all your enemies around you in the land that he is giving you as your own property, don’t forget to erase every memory of the Amalekites from the earth.

18 When you were weary and worn out, they met you on your journey and attacked all who were lagging behind; they had no fear of God.(A) 19 When the Lord your God gives you rest(B) from all the enemies(C) around you in the land he is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you shall blot out the name of Amalek(D) from under heaven. Do not forget!
