Deuteronomy 26:3-5

3 And you shall go to the priest who is in office in those days, and you shall say, ‘I declare today[a] to Yahweh your God that I have come into the land that Yahweh swore to our ancestors[b] to give to us.’ 4 Then the priest takes the basket from your hand and places it before[c] the altar of Yahweh your God. 5 And you shall declare[d] and you shall say before[e] your God, ‘My ancestor[f] was a wandering Aramean, and he went down to Egypt, and there he dwelt as an alien few in number,[g] and there he became a great nation, mighty and numerous.

New International Version
3 and say to the priest in office at the time, “I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come to the land the Lord swore to our ancestors to give us.” 4 The priest shall take the basket from your hands and set it down in front of the altar of the Lord your God. 5 Then you shall declare before the Lord your God: “My father was a wandering(A) Aramean,(B) and he went down into Egypt with a few people(C) and lived there and became a great nation,(D) powerful and numerous.
