The Curses of Mount Ebal
11 Moses also commanded the people that day, saying, 12 “These [tribes] shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people when you have crossed the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, [a]Joseph, and Benjamin. 13 These [tribes] shall stand on Mount Ebal to pronounce the curse [for disobedience]: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

11 On the same day Moses commanded the people:
12 When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim(A) to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar,(B) Joseph and Benjamin.(C) 13 And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal(D) to pronounce curses: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan and Naphtali.
