¹⁶Your businesses and farms will fail.

¹⁷You won't have enough bread^[a] to eat.

¹⁸You'll have only a few children, your crops will be small, and your herds of cattle and flocks of sheep and goats won't produce many young.

¹⁶You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.^(A)

¹⁷Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed.^(B)

¹⁸The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.^(C)
