¹⁶ You will be cursed in the city
and cursed in the country.
¹⁷ Your basket and kneading bowl will be cursed.
¹⁸ Your offspring will be cursed,
and your land’s produce,
the young of your herds,
and the newborn of your flocks.

²¹ For look, the Lord is coming from his place^(A)
to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.^(B)
The earth will reveal the blood shed on it
and will no longer conceal her slain.
