43 “The foreigner living with you will rise higher and higher while you sink lower and lower. 44 He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will be the head and you the tail.
45 “All these curses will come on you, pursuing you and overtaking you until you are destroyed, because you didn’t pay attention to what Adonai your God said, observing his mitzvot and regulations that he gave you.

43 The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower.(A) 44 They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them.(B) They will be the head, but you will be the tail.(C)
45 All these curses will come on you. They will pursue you and overtake you(D) until you are destroyed,(E) because you did not obey the Lord your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you.
