43 The stranger among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will become less and less. 44 He will give to you. But you will not give to him. He will be the head and you will be the tail. 45 All these curses will come upon you. They will follow you and come upon you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping all the Laws He gave you.

43 The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower.(A) 44 They will lend to you, but you will not lend to them.(B) They will be the head, but you will be the tail.(C)
45 All these curses will come on you. They will pursue you and overtake you(D) until you are destroyed,(E) because you did not obey the Lord your God and observe the commands and decrees he gave you.
