Deuteronomy 29:19-21
The Voice
19 Even when they hear the words of the covenant oath, they’ll exult, “We can keep going our own way, and we’ll be just fine!” They will end up destroying everything in the country. 20 He will never forgive them; He’ll be furious with jealousy, and they will be struck with all the curses written in this book. He will wipe away every trace of them under heaven. 21 He’ll single them out for misery from all the tribes of Israel and bring disaster on them according to all the covenant curses recorded in this book of the law.
Deuteronomy 29:19-21
New International Version
19 When such a person hears the words of this oath and they invoke a blessing(A) on themselves, thinking, “I will be safe, even though I persist in going my own way,”(B) they will bring disaster on the watered land as well as the dry. 20 The Lord will never be willing to forgive(C) them; his wrath and zeal(D) will burn(E) against them. All the curses written in this book will fall on them, and the Lord will blot(F) out their names from under heaven. 21 The Lord will single them out from all the tribes of Israel for disaster,(G) according to all the curses of the covenant written in this Book of the Law.(H)
