Deuteronomy 3:19-21

19 Your wives only, and your children, and your cattle (for I know that ye have much cattle) shall abide in your cities, which I have given you,
20 Until the Lord have given rest unto your brethren as unto you, and that they also possess the land, which the Lord your God hath given them beyond Jordan: then shall ye (A)return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.
21 ¶ (B)And I charged Joshua the same time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the [a]Lord your God hath done unto these two Kings: (C)so shall the Lord do unto all the kingdoms whither thou goest.

19 However, your wives,(A) your children and your livestock(B) (I know you have much livestock) may stay in the towns I have given you, 20 until the Lord gives rest to your fellow Israelites as he has to you, and they too have taken over the land that the Lord your God is giving them across the Jordan. After that, each of you may go back to the possession I have given you.”
