8 “And so we took at that time the land from the control of[a] the two kings of the Amorites[b] who were on the other side of the Jordan,[c] from the wadi[d] of Arnon up to Mount Hermon.[e] 9 (The Sidonians called Hermon ‘Sirion,’ and the Amorites called it ‘Senir.’) 10 All of the towns of the plateau and the whole of Gilead and all of Bashan up to Salecah and Edrei, the towns of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

8 So at that time we took from these two kings of the Amorites(A) the territory east of the Jordan, from the Arnon Gorge as far as Mount Hermon.(B) 9 (Hermon is called Sirion(C) by the Sidonians; the Amorites call it Senir.)(D) 10 We took all the towns on the plateau, and all Gilead, and all Bashan as far as Salekah(E) and Edrei, towns of Og’s kingdom in Bashan.
