2 and when you return to the Lord your God and listen to his voice with all your heart and soul, in every way that I am commanding you today, you and your children, 3 then the Lord your God will restore you from your captivity. He will have compassion on you, and he will gather you together again out of all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. 4 Even if your banished people are at the end of the heavens, the Lord your God will gather you together there and take you away from there.

2 and when you and your children return(A) to the Lord your God and obey him with all your heart(B) and with all your soul according to everything I command you today, 3 then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes[a](C) and have compassion(D) on you and gather(E) you again from all the nations where he scattered(F) you.(G) 4 Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens,(H) from there the Lord your God will gather(I) you and bring you back.(J)
