10 (A)He found him in a desert land,
And in the howling waste of a wilderness;
He encircled him; He cared for him;
He guarded him as (B)the pupil of His eye.
11 (C)Like an eagle that stirs up its nest,
That hovers over its young,
(D)He spread His wings and caught them;
He carried them on His pinions.
12 (E)Yahweh alone guided him,
(F)And there was no foreign god with him.

he guarded him as the apple of his eye,(D)
11 like an eagle that stirs up its nest
and hovers over its young,(E)
that spreads its wings to catch them
and carries them aloft.(F)
12 The Lord alone led(G) him;(H)
no foreign god was with him.(I)
