^43 (A)“Rejoice with him, O heavens;
    bow down to him, all gods,^[a]
for he ^(B)avenges the blood of his children^[b]
    and takes vengeance on his adversaries.
He repays those who hate him^[c]
    and cleanses^[d] his people's land.”^[e]

85 Lord, you were ^(B)favourable to your land;
    you ^(C)restored the fortunes of Jacob.

³ They shall not remain in ^(A)the land of the Lord,
    but ^(B)Ephraim shall return to Egypt,
    and ^(C)they shall eat unclean food in Assyria.

^18 (A)Then the Lord became jealous for his land
    ^(B)and had pity on his people.
