34 ^(A)Now Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. And the Lord ^(B)showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan,

²⁹ And ^(A)they named the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father who was born to Israel; however, the name of the city was previously Laish.

²⁰ So Ben-hadad listened to King Asa and sent the commanders of his armies against the cities of Israel, and ^[a]conquered ^(A)Ijon, ^(B)Dan, ^(C)Abel-beth-maacah, and all ^(D)Chinneroth, besides all the land of Naphtali.
