4 “Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and ordinances^(A) I am teaching you to follow, so that you may live,^(B) enter, and take possession of the land the Lord, the God of your ancestors,^(C) is giving you.

¹⁰ “When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that he would give you—a land with large and beautiful cities that you did not build,

¹⁸ Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so that you may prosper and so that you may enter and possess the good land^(A) the Lord your God swore to give your ancestors,^(B)

8 “Carefully follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase, and may enter and take possession of the land^(A) the Lord swore to your ancestors.

¹¹ Then the Lord said to me, ‘Get up. Continue your journey ahead of the people, so that they may enter and possess the land I swore to give their ancestors.’^(A)
