³² For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

⁸ For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

⁴ Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,

⁴ We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

⁹ Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
