³⁴ Or did any god venture to go and take a nation for himself from the midst of another nation, by testings, by signs and wonders,^(A) by war, with strong hand and outstretched arm, and by great terrors, all of which the Lord, your God, did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?

^21 (A)you shall say to your son, “We were once slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand^{(B) 22} and wrought before our eyes signs and wonders, great and dire, against Egypt and against Pharaoh and his whole house.
