38 in order to remove larger and stronger nations from before you and bring you into their land, giving it to you as an inheritance. That’s where things stand right now. 39 Know then today and keep in mind that the Lord is the only God in heaven above or on earth below. There is no other. 40 Keep the Lord’s regulations and his commandments. I’m commanding them to you today for your well-being and for the well-being of your children after you, so that you may extend your time on the fertile land that the Lord your God is giving you forever.

Deuteronomy 4:38-40

38 to drive out before you nations greater and stronger than you and to bring you into their land to give it to you for your inheritance,(A) as it is today.
39 Acknowledge(B) and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.(C) 40 Keep(D) his decrees and commands,(E) which I am giving you today, so that it may go well(F) with you and your children after you and that you may live long(G) in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time.
