⁴⁸This land extended from Aroer^(A) on the rim of the Arnon Gorge to Mount Sirion^[a]^(B) (that is, Hermon^(C)),

⁴⁸From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon,

³It is as if the dew^(A) of Hermon^(B)
were falling on Mount Zion.^(C)
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,^(D)
even life forevermore.^(E)

³As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
