13 and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold are [a]multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; 14 (A)when your heart [b]is lifted up, and you (B)forget the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; 15 who (C)led you through that great and terrible wilderness, (D)in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no water; (E)who brought water for you out of the flinty rock;

13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, 14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget(A) the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 15 He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness,(B) that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes(C) and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock.(D)
