That I may learn Your statutes.

^11 (A)My son, do not reject the ^[a]discipline of the Lord
Or loathe His reproof,
¹² For ^(B)whom the Lord loves He reproves,
Even ^(C)as a father corrects the son in whom he delights.

“^(A)My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
Nor ^(B)faint when you are reproved by Him;
^6 (C)For those ^(D)whom the Lord loves He disciplines,
And He scourges every son whom He receives.”
