18 (A)And I fell down before Yahweh, (B)as at the first, forty days and nights; (C)I neither ate bread nor drank water (D)because of all your sin which you had committed in doing what was evil in the sight of Yahweh to provoke Him to anger. 19 For (E)I was afraid of the anger and the wrath with which Yahweh was provoked against you in order to destroy you, (F)but Yahweh listened to me that time also. 20 And Yahweh was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him; so I also prayed for Aaron at the same time.

New International Version
18 Then once again I fell(A) prostrate before the Lord for forty days and forty nights; I ate no bread and drank no water,(B) because of all the sin you had committed,(C) doing what was evil in the Lord’s sight and so arousing his anger. 19 I feared the anger and wrath of the Lord, for he was angry enough with you to destroy you.(D) But again the Lord listened to me.(E) 20 And the Lord was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him, but at that time I prayed for Aaron too.
