¹⁰ When you cross the Jordan and live in the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and ^(A)He gives you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in security,

¹⁹ So it shall come about, when the Lord your God has given you ^(A)rest from all your surrounding enemies in the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance to ^[a]possess, that you shall wipe out the mention of the name Amalek from under heaven; you must not forget.

⁴⁴ And the Lord ^(A)gave them rest on every side, in accordance with everything that He had sworn to their fathers, and ^(B)no one of all their enemies stood before them; ^(C)the Lord handed all their enemies over to them.

⁴ And now ^(A)the Lord your God has given rest to your brothers, as He spoke to them; therefore turn now and go to your tents, to the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you beyond the Jordan.
