³⁶ From ^(A)Aroer which is on the edge of the ^[a]Valley of Arnon and from the city which is in the ^[b]valley, even to Gilead, there was no city that was too ^[c]high for us; the Lord our God turned it all over ^[d]to us.

⁴⁴ And the Lord ^(A)gave them rest on every side, in accordance with everything that He had sworn to their fathers, and ^(B)no one of all their enemies stood before them; ^(C)the Lord handed all their enemies over to them.
