Curses for Disobedience

¹⁵ “But if you do not obey the Lord your God by carefully following all His commands and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overtake you:^(A)

¹⁰ He had commanded him about this, so that he would not follow other gods, but Solomon did not do what the Lord had commanded.^(A)

⁹ “As for you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind,^(A) for the Lord searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought.^(B) If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.^(C)
