²⁷ The Lord will strike you ^(A)with the boils of Egypt, and with tumours and ^(B)scabs and itch, of which you cannot be healed.

⁶⁰ And he will bring upon you again all ^(A)the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you.

The Tenth Plague: Death of the Firstborn

^29 (A)At midnight the ^(B)Lord struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, ^(C)from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the livestock.

²⁴ Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts: “O my people, ^(A)who dwell in Zion, ^(B)be not afraid of the Assyrians when they strike with the rod and lift up their staff against you as ^(C)the Egyptians did.

²⁶ And ^(A)the Lord of hosts will wield against them a whip, as when he struck ^(B)Midian ^(C)at the rock of Oreb. And his staff will be over the sea, and he will lift it ^(D)as he did in Egypt.
