⁶⁵ And ^(A)among these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting-place for the sole of your foot, but ^(B)the Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and ^(C)a languishing soul.

¹⁷ I will do this that they may lack bread and water, and ^(A)look at one another in dismay, and ^(B)rot away because of their punishment.

^23 (A)Your turbans shall be on your heads and your shoes on your feet; you shall not mourn or weep, but ^(B)you shall rot away in your iniquities and groan to one another.

¹⁰ “And you, ^(A)son of man, say to the house of Israel, Thus have you said: ‘Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and ^(B)we rot away because of them. ^(C)How then can we live?’

⁹ then those of you who escape ^(A)will remember me among the nations where they are carried captive, how ^(B)I have been broken over their whoring heart that has departed from me and over their eyes ^(C)that go whoring after their idols. ^(D)And they will be loathsome in their own sight for the evils that they have committed, for all their abominations.
