¹⁹ And be careful not to raise your eyes to heaven and look at the sun, the moon, and the stars, ^(A)all the heavenly ^[a]lights, ^(B)and allow yourself to be drawn away and worship them and serve them, things which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

¹² oppresses the ^(A)poor and needy, ^(B)commits robbery, does not restore a pledge, but raises his eyes to the idols and ^(C)commits abomination,

¹⁵ He does not eat at the mountain shrines or raise his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel; he has not defiled his neighbor’s wife,

²⁴ because they had not ^[a]complied with My ordinances, but had rejected My statutes and had profaned My Sabbaths, and ^(A)their eyes were ^[b]on the idols of their fathers.

²⁵ Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “You eat meat with the ^(A)blood in it, raise your eyes to your idols as you shed blood. ^(B)Should you then possess the land?
