³² So you shall be careful to do just as the Lord your God has commanded you; ^(A)you shall not turn aside to the right or to the left. ^33 (B)You shall walk ^[a]entirely in the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, ^(C)so that you may live and that it may be well for you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.

Obey God and Prosper

6 “Now this is the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which the Lord your God has commanded me to teach you, so that you may do them in the land where you are going over to take possession of it, ² so that you, your son, and your grandson will ^(A)fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, ^(B)all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.

8 “All the commandments that I am commanding you today you shall be careful to do, so that you ^(A)may live and increase, and go in and take possession of the land which the Lord swore to give to your forefathers. ^2 (B)And you shall remember all the way which the Lord your God has ^(C)led you in the wilderness these forty years, in order to humble you, ^(D)putting you to the test, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

11 “You shall therefore ^(A)love the Lord your God, and always ^(B)keep His directive, His statutes, His ordinances, and His commandments.

Laws of the Sanctuary

12 “These are the statutes and the judgments which you shall carefully ^[a]follow in the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess ^[b](A)as long as you live on the ^[c]earth.
