⁶ For you are ^(A)a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be ^(B)a people for His personal possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the ^[a]earth.

²¹ “^(A)You shall not eat anything which dies of itself. You may give it to the stranger who is in your ^[a]town, so that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a stranger; for you are ^(B)a holy people to the Lord your God. ^(C)You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

¹⁹ and ^[a]that He will ^(A)put you high above all the nations which He has made, for glory, fame, and honor; and that you shall be ^(B)a consecrated people to the Lord your God, just as He has spoken.”
