⁸ but because the Lord loved you and kept the ^(A)oath which He swore to your forefathers, ^(B)the Lord brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of ^[a]slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

^15 (A)Yet the Lord set His affection on your fathers, to love them, and He chose their ^[a]descendants after them, you over all the other peoples, as it is this day.

⁵ whose are ^(A)the fathers, and ^(B)from whom is the ^[a]Christ according to the flesh, ^(C)who is over all, ^(D)God ^(E)blessed ^[b]forever. Amen.
