⁷^(A)Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
^(B)And the spirit will return to God ^(C)who gave it.

⁷then the ^(A)dust will return to the earth as it was, and the ^[a]^(B)spirit will return to ^(C)God who gave it.

⁷then the dust [out of which God made man’s body] will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.

⁷and the dust returns^(A) to the ground it came from,
and the spirit returns to God^(B) who gave it.^(C)
