Ecclesiastes 8:11-13
New American Standard Bible
11 Because the (A)sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore (B)the hearts of the sons of mankind among them are [a]fully given to do evil. 12 Although a sinner does evil a hundred times and may (C)lengthen his life, still I know that it will go (D)well for those who fear God, who fear [b]Him openly. 13 But it will (E)not go well for the evil person and he will not lengthen his days like a (F)shadow, because he does not fear God.

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13
New International Version
11 When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people’s hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong. 12 Although a wicked person who commits a hundred crimes may live a long time, I know that it will go better(A) with those who fear God,(B) who are reverent before him.(C) 13 Yet because the wicked do not fear God,(D) it will not go well with them, and their days(E) will not lengthen like a shadow.
